Volunteering

The vital work of the American Red Cross is made possible by people like you, who learn how good it can feel to lend a helping hand. Red Cross “everyday heroes” come from all walks of life. They’re all ages. Everyone has something special to offer . . . including you. Whether it is a few hours a week or a few hours a month, the Red Cross depends on the volunteers who constitute 97 percent of its total work force to provide humanitarian services where, and when, ever they are needed.
The American Red Cross is an organization of volunteers ~ neighbor helping neighbor in our community. The West Bend Chapter encourages you to become a volunteer, serving the community in a way meaningful to you. Disaster preparedness is an important part of relieving the suffering that an unprepared community will experience in a disaster. Training, on-going support and resources are available to CDE volunteers.
